Olayemi Phillips
Olayemi "Yemi" Phillips can not remember a life where children were not part of it. Originally from Brighton, England, she arrived in the US as an 'Au-Pair' many moons ago. Over three decades, she has worked with kids as Nanny, Newborn Photographer and Daycare Manager, with her most cherished position as 'Mama.' Tens of children later, the time has come to put into print some her works inspired not only by her little ones, but some greats as well. Her love of children's books has been a lifelong one and she can remember community service time in a local primary school, reading 'Where the Wild Things Are' as a teen -- it remains one of her all time favorites to this day.
Outside of her work with children, Olayemi loves to watch softball, go to concerts and travel.
